Musa (AS) and Pharaoh

The classic struggle between truth and tyranny, faith and arrogance.

Raised in the Lion's Den

In a divine irony, Pharaoh, who killed babies to stop a prophecy of his downfall, ended up raising that very child (Musa) in his own palace.

The Burning Bush

Musa fled Egypt and spent years in Madyan. On his return, at Mount Tur, Allah spoke to him directly, giving him the mission to free the Israelites.

The Red Sea

Trapped between the sea and Pharaoh's army, the people despaired. Musa declared, "My Lord is with me; He will guide me!" He struck the sea, and it parted. This event (observed on Ashura) teaches that when we follow Allah's path, He opens ways where there appear to be none.
